Nottingham Forest continued their unbeaten start to the season as they beat Reading at the weekend in front of their own fans.

The Reds have five points on the board and are at the right end of the league after two draws and their win over the Royals.

The goals haven't flowed but that's not because they've not been trying, they're football has been very good.

Certainly, as they continue to gel the goals for column should only improve whilst with Adlene Guedioura still in the side we should see a fair few goal of the season contenders to come.

He's not shy of a long-shot, as we saw at West Brom, and in exciting words for Reds fans, he's said that he is more than willing to go for it again.

As quoted by the Nottingham Post, he said:

“If I have the opportunity I will try. Joao (Carvalho) spotted in the first half that the keeper was a bit high in his positioning and we all said that, if we had a chance to do it, we should do it.”

The Verdict

Guedioura has started this season in fine form and his shooting has been dynamite to say the least.

That's not the only the thing he has brought to Forest, though, with massive energy coming in the middle of the park and good passing too.

He's had a fine start to the campaign, and Reds fans will be hoping that surely continues.
