Nottingham Forest midfielder Henri Lansbury has reportedly held talks with Premier League club Watford, over a potential January move, claims WDSport.

The report also claims, however, that the 26-year old could also choose to join Newcastle United, after strong interest from Rafa Benitez, and is said to be undecided whether to move to the Hornets or the Magpies.

Forest are now likely to cash in on Lansbury whilst they still can during the January transfer window, and he could well be on his way in the next few weeks if the rumours are to be believed.

The play-maker has racked up 150 appearances for the Reds, scoring 33 times in the process, and after ruling out moves to Birmingham Cuty and bitter local rivals Derby County, a move to St. James' Park or Vicarage Road is now on the horizon.

Forest have struggled this season, and the loss of star man Lansbury will be a big blow to their second half of season aspirations.

So...what do you think Forest fans? How much of a blow would it be to lose Henri Lansbury? Newcastle fans...how much would you like to sign Lansbury, or do you even need him? Leave all of your thoughts in the comments below!
