Zach Clough believes Nottingham Forest can defy the odds this weekend by beating promotion-chasing Reading in the Sky Bet Championship, reports Forest’s official Twitter account.
Mark Warburton’s Reds are sat 21st in the Championship table, just one-point outside the relegation zone, a stark contrast to Saturday’s opponents, who are third and look set for the Play-Offs.
However, despite the two clubs’ differing fortunes this season, Clough is confident Forest can cause an upset this weekend.
Forest have picked up just two victories in their last 13 Championship fixtures, which came against already promoted Brighton and Hove Albion and Reading’s Play-Off rival Huddersfield Town.
Clough insists his side have full belief they can claim another Championship scalp this weekend, he said: “Reading will be tough but we have shown we can beat Brighton and Huddersfield recently so we believe we can do it.”

Warburton’s side have three fixtures remaining, and will be desperate to move away from Blackburn Rovers, who occupy the final place in the relegation zone.
Following this weekend’s clash with Reading, Forest face Queens Park Rangers and Ipswich Town to complete the Championship season.
