Birmingham City will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Championship on Saturday when they head to the John Smith's Stadium to face Huddersfield Town.

The Blues, who handed over the reins to caretaker head coach Pep Clotet in June, recently suffered a tepid 1-0 defeat to Fulham in which they struggled to create any clear-cut chances.

Given that Lukas Jutkiewicz and Alvaro Gimenez have struggled for consistency in-front of goal this season, Clotet could turn to the club's youth set-up for inspiration this weekend.

Since joining Birmingham on a short-term deal in the summer, Miguel Fernandez has been used exclusively at Under-23 level by the club.

Having found the back of the net in the Blues' clashes with Leeds United and Bolton Wanderers in recent weeks, the Spaniard continued his fine form by scoring against Crewe Alexandra yesterday.

Capable of playing as a midfielder as well as a striker, it will be intriguing to see whether Fernandez is included in Birmingham's match-day squad on Saturday.

After Blues HQ asked their followers whether the 19-year-old should be given the chance to impress for the club's senior side, these Birmingham fans offered their thoughts on the matter on Twitter.
