With 21 goals and a place in the Championship Team of the Season already secure, it's fair to say Hull City's Jarrod Bowen already has plenty of admirers.

The winger has recently been watched by scouts from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur, and it appears they have joined the long list impressed with the Tigers star man.

According to Football Insider, scouts from the London club have been "blown away" by Bowen, with one member of the club's recruitment team comparing him to Liverpool's Mohammed Salah!

"His playing style is just like [Mohamed] Salah. He is a left-footed winger who plays on the right flank and loves cutting inside and running at defenders."

The source went onto claim that Bowen is ready for the top tier of English football right now.

"He has learned his trade in the Championship and is ready to step up to the Premier League. Scouts are watching him closely and lots of clubs are interested."

So are those scouts from Tottenham right to be so impressed with Bowen?

We asked some of our Football League World writers for their thoughts...

George Harbey

"I think given the season that he has had, its completely justified.

"Without Bowen’s goals and assists, I think Hull wouldn’t be as high up as they are now, as they would counting on Kamil Grosicki to do all of their creative work.

"I think back to when Hull were languishing towards the bottom end of the league, and it was Bowen’s goals that helped push them up the table, so it’s clear that he is a hugely important player for them.."

Toby Wilding

"You can certainly see where the comparisons have come from.

"Bowen has been as important an individual to Hull as Salah has to Liverpool this season, if not more given the Tigers other options.

"There is no question the big clubs will come in for him in the summer, and that is a big concern for Hull."

Louie Chandler

"Completely justified.

"Considering the team that Bowen has been playing in this season he has been nothing short of sensational.
"He would prove a very smart signing for Spurs indeed."
