Brentford striker Neal Maupay returned to training on Tuesday after being sent home from the club's pre-season tour amid interest from Premier League clubs.

The 22-year-old has attracted interest from the likes of Aston Villa, Brighton and Sheffield United this summer following an impressive campaign last term, but he is now back with the Bees after some time away.

Brentford are not yet thought to have received any official offers for the Frenchman's services, but he was withdrawn from the club's friendly match against Dynamo Kiev on Saturday because he was reportedly not in the correct frame of mind.
