Many West Bromwich Albion fans have shared their opinion on a potential nine-point lead at the top of the Championship table if they beat Nottingham Forest at the weekend.
In any other league, West Brom’s poor form over the December and January months would have seen them drop down the league table – but Slaven Bilic’s side were lucky enough to see the likes of Leeds United and Forest fail to capitalise.
February has seen the Baggies turn their fortunes around with three wins out of three, and the win over Reading earlier this week handed them a six point lead over second placed Leeds.
Heading into the weekend’s fixtures, Bilic and his players will know that if results go their way – they could gain a nine point lead.
Facing Sabri Lamouchi’s Forest side, the Baggies will know of the threat the East Midlands side offer in the likes of Lewis Grabban, Joe Lolley and Tiago Silva.

Nope still loads of games to go we had an even bigger lead and teams caught up, take it one game at a time!

Not promoted or should we even start tempting fate until there is a (P) next to our name. Work hard, support the players, let’s get it done. But it’s nowhere near a certainty even with a potential 9 point lead.

I’m going for 9 more wins, should do it. We have a hard fixture list but looking at the fixtures I think it is doable.

Not yet. We need to keep going until its secured and the push for the title. If we’re going up, let’s do it in style. 🔵⚪

Nope, it only took 7 games to catch a 12 point gap. Until we are 9 ahead with 3 to play nothing’s certain.
