Tottenham winger Jack Clarke is preparing to join Championship side QPR on loan until the end of the season, according to MailOnline.

Clarke looks set to bolster QPR's attacking options in the second half of the campaign, with the West London club having reportedly fended off competition from the likes of Derby, Millwall and Celtic to secure his signature.

The 19-year-old should now be available to make his debut for the Hoops when they welcome Leeds United to the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium this weekend, with QPR hoping the Tottenham youngster can help fire them towards the play-off spots.

Clarke spent the first half of the season on loan at Championship high-flyers Leeds, but the fact he only made three appearances for the Elland Road outfit resulted in parent club Tottenham deciding to cut short his loan spell earlier this month.

The winger had progressed through the Leeds' academy ranks before making his switch to North London last summer, but Spurs' decision to send him back on loan to his boyhood club did not pay off as he struggled to fit back into Marcelo Bielsa's plans.
