Coventry City have made their third signing of the summer with the capture of goalkeeper Ben Wilson, as revealed on their official club website.

The 26-year-old will be a free agent at the end of the month as he prepares to leave relegated Bradford City. He made just six appearances for the Bantams as they slipped out of the third-tier, but he's now set to remain in League One with the Sky Blues.

Wilson began his career in the north east with Sunderland, before moves to Accrington Stanley and Cardiff City. During his time in Wales, the 6ft 1in stopper also played on loan at AFC Wimbledon, Rochdale and Oldham.

Despite having a list of former clubs running into double figures, Wilson has only made 27 senior appearances in his career.

He's the second keeper to arrive in as many days, with Marco Marosi signing yesterday following the impending departure of former number one Lee Burge.

The reaction has been mainly positive from Coventry supporters, although one or two are wondering if perhaps a new deal at the Ricoh is the announcement that will really make a difference, not that of a second-choice keeper.
