Joe Worrall has certainly established himself as a hugely important player for Nottingham Forest under Sabri Lamouchi this term.

The 22-year-old - who spent the entirety of last season on loan at Rangers - has been immense for the Reds since returning from his loan spell at Ibrox.

The central defender has made 33 appearances in all competitions, forging a solid understanding alongside Tobias Figueiredo, stepping up and becoming a leader in defence in the absence of Michael Dawson.

Sheffield United, West Ham and Norwich were all linked with the defender in January, but Daily Mirror journalist James Nursey claimed towards the latter stages of the window that the club had opened talks with the player over a new deal.

There has been no movement on that deal as of yet, but a minority of Forest fans have been discussing how important it is tie to the homegrown star down to a new deal, especially if they win promotion to the Premier League this term.
