According to reports from the Scottish Sun, Stoke City are interested in signing Aberdeen striker Sam Cosgrove in the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old has been in incredible form for the SPFL side this season, scoring an impressive 16 goals in 20 appearances in all competitions.

The former Carlisle United front-man, who was linked with a move to the Serie A in recent times, is now believed to be wanted by Stoke.

The Scottish Sun claim that Stoke have been admirers of the Yorkshire-born striker all season, and new manager Michael O'Neill is believed to be a fan too.

Stoke have struggled for goals from their strikers this season - their top goalscorer is midfielder Sam Clucas, with Lee Gregory finding the net only three times, so a new striker could well be on the agenda in January.

But having conceded 29 goals in 16 league matches this term, perhaps a new defender should be highest up on the transfer priority wishlist.

Here, then, we take a look at Stoke fans' reactions to this latest transfer news...
