There is no doubt that Ian Holloway will be more than satisfied with his side's recent revival in the Sky Bet Championship.

The R's have won their last 3 league games, ending their run of 6 straight league defeats, meaning that the West London club now sit 17th in the Championship table.

The Hoops were in serious danger of being dragged into a relegation battle so this recent resurgence will come as a relief to QPR fans.

Even so, the Loftus Road faithful will still be extremely disappointed with the R's progress this term, and for a squad blessed with so much talent and quality, being 13 points off the play-off places after 26 games isn't good by any means.

With the January transfer window drawing ever closer to an end, now is the crucial time for Holloway to get rid of the deadwood and bring in fresh, new talent that will galvanise a promotion push.

That being said, here, we identify TWO transfers that QPR need to seal this week...

Danny Ward

The R's have recently had a fee in the region of £1.2million turned down by Rotherham for the prolific forward.

The 26-year-old has netted 10 times for the Millers this term, who sit at the foot of the Championship table, and the Yorkshire club are going to have a lot of difficulty keeping him at the New York Stadium this window.

The R's do not have a proven goalscorer in their ranks; Conor Washington and Idrissa Sylla are sub-standard so Ward would be a good addition.

Sean Goss

Another player that the R's have been heavily linked with is the Manchester United midfielder Sean Goss.

The 21-year-old has never featured in the Red Devils' first team, making a loan move look even more on the cards.

The midfielder, who can also operate as a defender, would add some real quality into the R's outfit, and his versatility would be a key asset.
