Pressure continues to mount on Bristol Rovers manager Darryl Clarke, whose side are down in 20th place in League One, just two points above the relegation spots.

Clarke who has been at the club since 2014 has only taken 14 points from a possible 36 and with fellow strugglers Scunthorpe next up for Rovers, the pressure is on Clarke to turn the tide.

So how long has Clarke got left at Rovers?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

Outside the bottom four by two points, the usually solid and hard-to-beat Rovers side usually operate towards the top ten or 12 of the League One table.

Bristol Rovers usually threaten to have a charge into the play-offs but, this season, they are in a fight just to stay in the third tier.

I would say between five and six more matches, in all honesty, take them up to the New Year and see where they are.

A team like the Gas should be challenging for the play-offs, not battling against relegation.

Gary Hutchinson

Not long, sadly.

The truth is the Gas are a League One / League Two team and right now they’re in the former, staring at the latter.

League One is deadly for managers, they’re dreaming of the Championship gold, but are only a run of defeats away from trips to Morecambe and Macclesfield.

It’s why so many lose their jobs in that league.

Not long at all, surely.

With the squad they have on paper, they should be pushing for the playoffs, but it just seems like they have lost all confidence this season.

Things need to change.
