Queens Park Rangers have been linked with a move for ex-Nottingham Forest defender Alexander Milosevic, according to The Sun.

The Swede left Forest by mutual consent earlier in the season, having not made a single league appearance for Sabri Lamouchi's side.

According to Milosevic's agent, the defender has several clubs interested in signing him, and he's recently turned down a 'lucrative' offer from Swedish side, IFK Gothenburg.

The 28-year-old played 12 times for Forest in the Championship last season, in what has so far been his sole stint in England. He previously represented the likes of AIK, Besiktas, Hannover and more, and QPR could well be added to that list.

Mark Warburton needs defenders - his side has conceded a staggering 58 goals in 33 Championship games this season, giving them the joint-second worst defensive record in the league with bottom-club Barnsley.

Plenty of QPR fans from the Facebook group 'The Optimistic QPR Supporters' Page' have shared their thoughts on the potential signing, and here's what they had to say:

Lee Carters: There's a lot of people in Nottingham saying he's a disruptive influence.

Stewart Cutts: He'd be joining as cover... Hard to see him ousting Barbet or Hall.

Geoff Pallett: Good player was unlucky at Forest as they have about five central defenders.

Dave Adcock: If it's just for this season, not interested. If we see him replacing Hall next season then maybe. But let's not forget Masterson.

Mark McDermott: Unsure really but I trust MW in his selection because so far it's been outstanding.

Barry Hill: Worth a punt till the end of the season.

Hakan Nilsson: No thanks.
