West Bromwich Albion supporters have been debating whether they believe that striker Charlie Austin can still be a success at the Hawthorns, after he was left out of the starting line-up for Saturday's trip to Hull City.

Austin has so far struggled to rediscover his best form since making the move to West Brom from Premier League Southampton during the summer, with the striker managing to score just one league goal so far against Cardiff City in 11 Championship appearances.

Despite the 30-year-old's struggles in front of goal Slaven Bilic has remained patient with Austin, selecting him to start in the Baggies' last five league games prior to their trip to Hull on Saturday, which could be a sign that the striker could well have to get used to life on the bench.

The form of fellow striker Hal Robson-Kanu could not be ignored by Bilic, with the Wales international scoring vital goals from the bench recently against Middlesbrough, Charlton Athletic and Stoke City - and the striker earned a rare start against Hull at the weekend.

It was also potentially telling that Bilic elected to bring on Kenneth Zohore rather than Austin during the dying moments against Hull, although that could have been more down to Zohore offering more of a physical presence to defend set pieces and hold onto the ball as the Baggies looked to see out the game.

Here, we take a look at what West Brom fans have been saying about whether they believe Austin can still be a success at the Hawthorns...
