Overall Millwall fans will surely be delighted with the way their side have gone about its business since Gary Rowett arrived as their new boss, with the former Birmingham City boss having led the Lions to 11th place in the table.

Much of Millwall's strong form under Rowett has been due in parts to the form displayed by right midfielder Jed Wallace, who has netted seven goals already this term, thus being the club's standout performer.

Many fans will have been surprised by the 25-year-old's contribution, with Wallace having been largely inconsistent in the scoring stakes throughout his career.

The Lions of course managed to draw 2-2 against lowly Wigan Athletic last night, in a match in which both Wallace and Wigan's Jamal Lowe featured.

It was Lowe in fact who was the main man in focus of the Millwall faithful, with the former Portsmouth man having been wanted by many a Lions fan during the summer before moving to the Latics.

One fan was quick to take to Facebook to point out how poor his performance was last night, with many taking to social media to comment on the forward.

Matt Beattie: Lowe is not good enough to lace Jed's boots.

Adam Harper: Looks a waste of money!

Rob Jackson: Didn’t think he was that bad to be honest.

Lee Karl: He may have been kept quiet today but he is still a good player.

Jay Thomas: We still spent good money on Mahoney, well over a million and he’s been awful.
