Last night, Bristol Rovers drew 1-1 in their EFL League One clash with Gillingham at the Memorial Stadium.

Young striker Tyler Smith netted before half-time to give Bristol Rovers the lead in front of the home faithful, before Tom O'Connor equalised for the visitors from a few yards out in the second half.

The night for Bristol Rovers though was marred by the injury to right wing-back Josh Hare, who was stretchered off in the 73rd minute and replaced by former Bristol City defender, Mark Little.

Hare joined the club in the summer from National League outfit Eastleigh, and has been a revelation in the past few weeks, providing pinpoint crosses for the Gas strikers, namely Jonson Clarke-Harris.

The Bristol Rovers fans also reacted well to the starting lineup, sticking with their 3-5-2 formation in recent weeks.

Anssi Jaakola started in between the sticks, with a back three of Tony Craig, Alfie Kilgour and Tom Davies in front of him.

Luke Leahy and Josh Hare occupied the wing-back spots, with a central midfield trio of Abu Ogogo, Ollie Clarke and Ed Upson.

Tyler Smith and Jonson Clarke-Harris was the strike partnership which manager Graham Coughlan opted for.

Jordi Van Stappershoef, Mark Little, Liam Sercombe, Kyle Bennett, Alex Rodman, Tom Nichols and Victor Adeboyejo were the seven substitutes named for Bristol Rovers as they sought to continue their good league form.
