These Charlton fans have had their say on club stalwart Chris Solly, after Lee Bowyer explained why the 29-year-old has been omitted from the squad in recent weeks.

Solly has not made Charlton's last four matchday squads, and has found himself behind Adam Matthews in the pecking order at The Valley.

The Welshman has started Charlton's last five league fixtures in succession ahead of Solly, and Lee Bowyer admitted to London News Online that both Matthews and Deji Oshilaja have kept the 29-year-old out of the back line recently.

Solly is the longest serving player at Charlton. He made his first-team debut in 2009 after coming through the club's academy system.
