Cardiff City are plotting a bid for Stoke City's Lee Gregory, according to Wales Online.
The 31-year-old joined Stoke from Millwall in the summer, where he'd spent five seasons.
He's a familiar face to Neil Harris, and now the Cardiff boss wants a reunion with the forward, who scored 77 goals in 238 appearances for the Lions.
But it's not quite happened for Gregory at Stoke this season - in 23 Championship appearances he's managed to score just four goals, and his side sit just one point and one place above the drop zone.
Nevertheless, Harris is looking to bring in a striker this month and Gregory could well become their first signing.

Plenty of Cardiff fans have reacted to the speculation on Facebook, and here's what they had to say:
Christopher Western: Better than Ward and Bogle
Eno Henricksen: Why do we always seem to go for old players?
Euan Rogers: Not good enough and we need a better midfielder than Pack he's too slow
Matthew Devinett: Yeah be a brilliant signing for us he'd make a good player for Cardiff City
Julian Riddiford: He'd be one excellent signing that's if we get him
Marc Morgan: I don't even read transfer rumours around Cardiff anymore, the last few windows have been quite possibly the worst ever so I'm not expecting much this time either
