Many Celtic fans have discussed the impact made by Stoke City loanee defender Moritz Bauer this term.
Arriving at at Stoke City in January 2018, the young full-back failed to make an impact at the Bet365 stadium having joined the Potters during the Premier League season which saw them relegated to the Championship.
Dropping down to England’s second flight in 2018, Bauer would suffer a further lack of playing time for Stoke, making eight appearances during the 18/19 campaign, whilst also appearing once for the club’s U23 side.
Having seen his future at Stoke slowly diminish, Bauer agreed a deal to head out on loan with Celtic last summer, but he has featured sparingly for Neil Lennon’s side.

Nine Scottish Premier League starts have seen the Swiss born Austria international struggle, finding it hard to contend with Jeremie Frimpong, who has been impressive in the right back role at Celtic Park.
The Austrian international will return to the Bet365 stadium this summer, but it is expected any chance of featuring for Michael O’Neill’s side has now ended.
Looking into his lack of impact at Celtic, Football League World’s Ben Crump quizzed Celtic fans to give their opinion on the defender, asking via Facebook group Celtic Football Club: “What have you made of Moritz Bauer’s time on loan?” – and below are some responses.
