It was another difficult day for Middlesbrough on Saturday, as they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Championship league leaders West Brom at The Riverside Stadium.

Despite creating plenty of chances, Jonathan Woodgate's side were unable to find a breakthrough against the Baggies, and they would be punished from that late in the game.

With less than ten minutes of normal time remaining, a deflected cross from Grady Diangana found its way to the back post, where Hal Robson-Kanu was on hand to turn the ball home and secure the three points that secured Slaven Bilic's side's place at the top of the Championship.

In contrast to the heights currently being scaled by the Baggies, this latest defeat - Boro's sixth in 12 league games this season - means they are now just one place and one point clear of the relegation zone.

Unsurprisingly therefore, a number of the club's fans were keen to express their concern at the club's current situation, as they took to Twitter to react to the defeat to West Brom.

Here, we take a look at what some of them had to say.
