Nottingham Forest have made a very promising start to the season under Sabri Lamouchi and moved up to fourth in the Sky Bet Championship table with a 4-0 win at QPR on Wednesday night.

The Frenchman replaced Martin O'Neill in charge of the City Ground over the summer and brought in several new players, with the aim of building a team capable of challenging for promotion.

So many of his new signings have made an impact this season, perhaps none more so than goalkeeper Brice Samba. The 25-year-old has impressed massively since joining the Reds from French Ligue 2 side Caen in the summer.

The French-Congolese goalkeeper very quickly replaced Manchester City loanee Aro Muric as Lamouchi's first-choice shot-stopper and has kept nine clean sheets in all competitions so far.

He's conceded just nine goals in 13 appearances in the Championship and has pulled off a number of excellent saves. Samba kept his third clean sheet in a row against QPR and his remarkable start to the season has got some Forest fans talking on social media.

A Forest supporter posted on Facebook: "Brice Samba has to be worth £25m."

Plenty of Forest fans were quick to comment on the post and give their thoughts on the goalkeeper. Here is a look at the some of the best responses...

Mark Paterson: That’s for the right half....

Tom Potten: He is outstanding. Obviously I want us to be promoted but we’ll struggle to hold on to him if we don’t make the PL.

Paul Storer: Best keeper in the league.

Tim Johns: Best in years.

Ian Steel: Got to be in the same class of Shilton.

Robert Stevenson: Samba still learning his craft. Unfair to put pressure on him by comparing him to one of the best keepers in the world.

Philip Hardy: Not for sale.

David Towlson: Best goalie outside the Premier League by far and better than a lot of them in the Prem, imo.
