Despite their season crumbling around them following a disastrous Easter weekend that resulted in back-to-back defeats for Marcelo Bielsa's side.

It would seem that Leeds are still making plans for the future though, with the Whites looking to re-kindle their interest in Besiktas attacker Jeremain Lens, according to Turkish media outlet Fotomac.

The winger is not an unknown to English football having spent a spell with Sunderland, where he scored four goals in 24 appearances for the Black Cats before leaving for Besiktas at the beginning of this season, after their relegation to League One.

So would Lens be a good signing for Leeds?

We discuss........

Toby Wilding

"This is an interesting one.

"Leeds seem to need some alternative options within their squad, but Lens never really showed he could do that during his time at Sunderland.

"Perhaps this could be his chance to put that right."

Gary Hutchinson

“Not for me.

“It’s not a move I supported in the first place and it’s still folly now.

“They’ve got to be more measured in their recruitment and I can’t see Lens settling in our second tier.

“It doesn’t fit the Leeds pattern at all.”

Louie Chandler

"Not for me, avoid!

"Lens was once a very useful player and although Leeds may get one good season out of the 31-year-old, they should be looking a little bit more long-term with their summer arrivals.

"If Lens were to arrive instead of Dan James I would be thoroughly underwhelmed."
