Sheffield United continue to impress in the Championship this season with Chris Wilder's side well in the promotion mix in third place.

Blades manager Chris Wilder has stuck with on-loan goalkeeper Dean Henderson this season, meaning that 28-year-old Simon Moore has only managed one League Cup appearance, having made 61 appearances since arriving at Bramall Lane back in 2016.

So with Henderson likely to move on in the summer, is Moore good enough to step up for the Blades next season?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

"Not for me, I don’t think he’s up to standard.

"I don’t doubt that Moore is a good goalkeeper at Championship standard, but if you compare him to Dean Henderson, then the on-loan goalkeeper is streaks ahead of Moore in terms of ability.

"The Blades will need to find another shot-stopper."

Louie Chandler

"It depends where they are playing.

"If they win promotion then a new 'keeper should be targeted, but if they remain in the Championship I would back him.

"Wilder has done well getting the best out of his players and I would fancy him to do the same with Moore."

Jay Taylor

“I don’t think so; if he was good enough, he would have played this year, and even in their League One winning campaign.

“The fact he has been out of the side to loan keepers who are younger than him speaks volumes.

“If the Blades go up there is certainly no chance; he will feature next season.”
