Aston Villa and Leeds are two of the biggest clubs in the Championship and they also boast two of the better players in Jack Grealish and Samuel Saiz.

Grealish had initially failed to live up to the significant hype that surrounded him as soon as he broke into the team but has started to fulfil that potential this season.

When available, Steve Bruce has given the attacking midfielder a relatively free role in a 4-2-3-1 formation and the 22-year old has responded by delivering quality performances.

With an eye for a pass and the ability to beat players with ease, Grealish offers that bit of magic that Villa have often lacked in the final third and is integral to their promotion push.

Meanwhile, Saiz was something of an unknown quantity when he arrived at Elland Road from Spanish second division side Huesca.

However, everyone in the Championship will be aware of the 26-year old now. To highlight his importance to Leeds, the Whites failed to win in six games whilst he was banned, only to beat Brentford in his first start back.

With a real work-rate to match his undoubted skill, Saiz quickly became a fans favourite in Yorkshire.

Here at FLW, we put it to you to decide which player was better, with Grealish coming out on top.

Yet, it also created a lot of debate with plenty of comments coming in…
