Nottingham Forest rounded off their pre-season with a positive 2-2 home draw against Spanish side Real Sociedad on Friday night.

It has been a whirlwind of a pre-season for the East Midlands side, who have brought in six new faces as well as a new manager all in the space of a couple of months.

But after a series of eye-catching displays, Forest do look like a well-drilled, impressive side under Sabri Lamouchi, as the Reds prepare for their first game of the season against West Brom this weekend.

On Friday night, Forest fans got a glimpse of what their starting line-up could look like against Albion this weekend, with the likes of Lewis Grabban, Joe Lolley and Albert Adomah all getting invaluable minutes under their belt.

Midfielder Ben Watson also kept his place in the side for yet another friendly, suggesting that the experienced midfielder could well play a hugely important role under Lamouchi in 2019/20.
