It was a damaging evening for Leeds United in the Sky Bet Championship last night, as Paul Heckingbottom’s side suffered a defeat to Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Fulham were reasonably comfortable against Leeds, with goals from Kevin McDonald and Aleksandar Mitrovic either side of half-time securing a vital three points for Slavisa Jokanovic’s side.

Leeds’ problems have been made worse by two more injuries, with Matthew Pennington and Eunan O’Kane joining a lengthy injury list.

Adam Pope from BBC Radio Leeds has confirmed that Pennington has a calf problem, whilst O’Kane is struggling with an ongoing groin issue.

Pennington was withdrawn late in the contest, leaving Leeds to finish the game with just 10 on the field.

O’Kane’s injury came earlier in the game, with the midfielder replaced by Kalvin Phillips during the first-half.
