Leeds United are enjoying life in the Championship under manager Marcelo Bielsa sitting unbeaten at the top of the table.

With a fairly small squad to work with Bielsa seems to have found a winning formula and that does not seem to include 17-year-old striker Jack Clarke.

Here our team consider whether Clarke has any chance at getting into the team this season.

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

Not a chance - he is only 17 and I don’t think he is physically ready for the workload that Marcelo Bielsa demands from his players.

A loan away would be a better move first and once that has been completed and the player has experience of playing first team football in a regular basis, then he will be ready for a chance in the Leeds team.

This year comes too soon, I feel.

George Dagless

Probably not often.

He might have a chance in the FA Cup when that comes around but I think Bielsa has rather settled on his first-team.

Clarke will push for a place but I don't think he'll get many minutes.

Gary Hutchinson

Not right now, no.

He’s 17 though, so where’s the rush?

He’s not on the scrapheap, he’s working with one of the best coaches in the country and he’ll be developing.

At that age, first team football isn’t the priority, developing is.
