Leeds United have set their sights on Derby County midfielder Louie Sibley ahead of the final few days of the domestic transfer window.

Sibley endured an impressive breakthrough season under Phillip Cocu last term, and came to life towards the latter stages of the campaign.

The 19-year-old scored five goals in the final stages of last season, scoring a hat-trick in the win over Millwall in the first game following the season's resumption.

He's also been a regular for the Rams this season, but now, Leeds United are weighing up a late move for the homegrown star, with the transfer window closing on Friday.

Victor Orta has revealed that Sibley is a player who has been monitored, and according to Football Insider, the Rams would be happy to sell for a fee of around £10million.

Sibley put pen to paper on a new four-year deal at Pride Park last month, so his price-tag is likely to have risen considerably since penning a new contract.
