Up-and-coming Leeds United attacker Tyler Roberts has beaten in-demand Birmingham City 16-year-old Jude Bellingham in an 'EFL Wonderkid World Cup' Twitter poll, which has drawn a mixed reaction from fans of the Yorkshire club.

It has been another somewhat frustrating season for Roberts, who has been hampered by injury issues once again.

The Welshman has featured just 14 times for the Whites this season, bagging three goals, and has been a bit-part player as Leeds have claimed to the top of the Championship.

At the age of 21, Roberts already has 135 appearances, 23 goals, and 17 assists under his belt and is certainly a bright prospect.

So bright, it seems, that he has knocked Bellingham out of Prospect Watch's 'Wonderkid World Cup' Twitter poll.

The Leeds man received 57.3% of the vote meaning he moved into the fifth round and the Blues midfielder was eliminated.

Bellingham's emergence has been one of the talking points of the Championship season, with the 16-year-old making 35 appearances since his debut in August and being linked with a move to some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund are all thought to be keen on Bellingham, who looks likely to leave Birmingham this summer.

Yet Roberts is the man that has come way with the victory in the poll, which has drawn a mixed reaction from Leeds fans.
