Norwich City boss Daniel Farke is a man reportedly on the radar of Bayer Leverkusen, who are looking to replace Heiko Herrlich after a tough start to the Bundesliga season.

Farke’s profile is growing in the Championship with his Norwich side surprisingly in the thick of the promotion race after an incredible run of form in the lead up to Christmas.

There’s no doubt that news emerging that Leverkusen are interested in Farke will have worried the hierarchy at Carrow Road.

With that in mind, we take a look at whether Farke is irreplaceable?

We discuss…

Gary Hutchinson

No, not at all!

Last season they were questioning if he was good enough.

You can go from hero to zero quickly, look at Jokanovic at Fulham.

He’s doing a good job, lets leave it at that, for now.

Jay Taylor

No one is irreplaceable, but he is undoubtedly one of the main reasons as to why they find themselves where they currently are.

It took him a while to find his feet and change the philosophy and style of the club, but having done so, the benefits are there for all to see.

Norwich don’t have an out-and-out superstar but what they have is a collective that reliable and dependable – they are a team – in every sense of the word – and that is all down to Daniel Farke.

Louie Chandler

In the short-term, definitely.

The entire squad and club ethos has been built around the German and his style of play, so if he were to leave it would ruin their season.

Long-term, they could find someone as good if not better, however.

100% - Norwich will be sweating over this update.

We’ve seen at Brentford that when a manager like Dean Smith, who has implemented a whole new ethos at the club, leaves the club, they start to struggle.

Farke has made such a big impact at Carrow Road and it would be a massive blow if he left.
