Daniel Farke will need to make significant changes to his squad this summer.

The Canaries finished in 14th place which was a disappointing first season with Farke at the helm. He has produced an attractive style of football, but the results didn't come consistently with the season ending in a 5-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.

Their major issue has been goals because they only scored 49 in the league even though they have some top creative players such as James Maddison and Josh Murphy. Therefore, changes are likely in the summer transfer window as Farke aims to fix that issue.

Here are three players that could leave by the start of next season...

Pinto has captained the side for a number of matches this season, but his performances haven't been good enough. Harrison Reed was used to fill in for him at times and he performed better even though he is naturally a defensive midfielder.

The right-back position is an area of weakness for the team, so Farke needs to consider selling Pinto and bringing in a better option. They are unlikely to have Reed to rely on next season because he was on loan, which means this has to be a priority.

The club, and Farke, won't want Maddison to leave, but it seems all but certain now considering the level of interest. Multiple Premier League sides including some of the top clubs are interested in signing him due to his talent as well as the fact that he is English, so he contributes to the homegrown rule.

His tally of 14 goals and eight assists in the league is hugely impressive for a 21-year-old, and he was the creative focal point for the Canaries. The fee for his signature is likely to be around £25 million. However, it would be a good investment because his potential is high.

As mentioned above, Norwich had issues in front of goal this season and Maddison's statistics show how much he helped the Canaries in that regard.

Oliveira was the main striker for the side, but struggled to make his mark with eight goals and an assist in 27 league matches. Norwich need to improve this area and the 26-year-old is one of the players to miss out because they should cash in on him. He is valued at £4.50 million on TransferMarkt, so they could get a significant fee for him and reinvest it in the forward areas.
