Teams up and down the Championship will surely be monitoring Huddersfield's progress in the Premier League this season.

The men from Yorkshire surprised many with the way they managed to get themselves into the Premier League for this campaign after they tore up the form-book in the Championship last year.

They've started pretty decently in the top flight this season, too, with a win over Manchester United the highlight and so they'll be aiming to keep their form up in order to stay in the league past this season.

Whilst clubs in the Championship may have been watching them, then, the Terriers might just be taking a look at any players they might be able to sign from the Championship in the near future.

With that in mind, then, here are three players we think David Wagner should look to sign...

Luke Freeman

Freeman has been impressive for QPR, chipping in with goals and creating chances just behind the forward line.

It looks as though he is reaching and fulfilling the potential many thought he had but he might have to move away from the Rs to make the final step. QPR are unlikely to challenge for promotion this season and so Huddersfield might be the perfect platform for him with some hungry players already within the squad.

Josh Murphy

Murphy saw his brother make the move to Newcastle and the Premier League in the summer and he's bound to want to get to the top flight himself.

Norwich are good defensively, but they do not score enough goals at the moment to get into the top six and so Huddersfield might be able to bring in the winger. Certainly, he'd fit Wagner's high-energy style well and would also be eager to prove he is a top-flight level player like his brother.

Che Adams

Adams is a very exciting talent and Birmingham must be worried that they are going to lose him before too long.

The Blues have really struggled for form this season in the Championship and if they cannot buck their ideas up quickly, their best players are going to want to leave.

Adams is one of the few that has some credit intact for the Blues at the moment and he'd be good enough to play for Huddersfield.
