Sunday's East Anglian derby between Norwich City and Ipswich Town exploded into life in the closing stages.

The Tractor Boys thought they had snatched a dramatic late win - which would have been their first in the fixtue since 2009 - when Luke Chambers headed home and sparked incredible scenes on the Ipswich bench, with Mick McCarthy celebrating in an aggressive manner.

But Norwich managed to maintain their recent unbeaten record against their bitter rivals in stoppage time when Timm Klose netted and brought about passionate celebrations of their own from the home fans and players alike.

It was an incredible end to the match and while it ultimately means that the bragging rights are shared and the two sides remain locked together on points with only goal difference separating them, Klose has described his emotions when the goal went in.

He told the club's official website: "That was so emotional. Especially in a derby when you’re 1-0 behind and with the last kick of the game you equalise - it’s indescribable.

“It was in a derby and that makes it even more special. I think those moments you have to suck in and take them into the next game. That gives us maybe a push to do even bigger things."

The Verdict

What an end to the game it was and what a moment it was when Klose netted that late, late goal.

You could see the emotion from the fans and the players on the pitch - that is what it's all about. Klose clearly feels that deep affinity for the club and it came out in his celebrations and his words post match.
