Norwich City made it nine wins in their last 11 matches with a last-gasp comeback against a beleaguered Millwall side.

Daniel Farke’s men shellshocked their visitors with two goals in added time to secure a 4-3 win having been 3-2 down heading into six minutes of stoppage time.

The win saw the Canaries climb to the top of the Championship for the second time this season, and sit two points clear of the chasing pack heading into the international break.

The win was in no small part thanks to Teemu Puuki.

The 28-year-old Finland international’s recent injury has not derailed his current scintillating form.

Pukki starred in the win scoring twice - including the 97th-minute winner at Carrow Road to secure a vital three points.

No player had more shots than the Norwich striker, who managed three on target with two blocked - two of his on-target efforts were goals, and the third was a scuffed penalty saved by Millwall keeper Ben Amos

His input was impressive despite managing just 26 touches of the ball during his 90 minutes - averaging one touch every thee-and-half minutes or so.

Going forward, Norwich were impressive, and despite not being the biggest, strongest or even quickest forward, Pukki has a knack of being in dangerous positions and popping up where defenders fear his presence.

In attack he was immense, and his contribution for the team was not too shabby, completing 69 per cent of his passes - making 11 accurate passes of his 16 attempted - one of which was a key pass.

Millwall had taken the lead, but as is the striker’s forward instincts, he managed to hover around the area a yard or two off of Jake Cooper to smash home from close range.

The Finland international knows where the net is and proved that in destructive fashion.

His overall performance could have been better but if you can’t be good, be clinical, and that is exactly what Pukki was.

He will know he could have done better, but that will not be of significance to Farke or the rest of the Norwich side following the victory.

And now, the Canaries are singing atop the Championship after a potent Pukki performance in last weekend’s win.
