Norwich City are hoping to wrap up a summer move for highly-rated Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson, according to a report by Alan Nixon.

The Canaries are looking to make improvements to their squad this summer after seeing the team fall miserably short of any sort of playoff run last season, and manager Daniel Farke has clearly identified winger Wilson as an ideal sort of signing.

Wilson, who can play across the midfield and has a keen eye for goal, is already recognised at Anfield as one of the brighter prospects on the fringes of the squad, but will no doubt need some first team experience under his belt if he is to improve and progress.

The 21-year-old impressed for Hull last season as he notched seven goals in 13 appearances for Nigel Adkins' men, as they climbed clear of any relegation trouble with an impressive finish to the season.

However, Liverpool will feel he isn't quite ready for a run in the first team yet at Anfield, and a spell with Norwich could well appeal to the youngster.

Wilson is already a full Welsh international with four caps to his name after being a regular throughout the junior levels for his country.

Norwich fans, what do you think to this? Good signing? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
