Norwich City winger Matt Jarvis out for up to three months

Published

It has been reported by the Pink’Un that 30-year-old winger Matt Jarvis will miss the first part of the season after he has been ruled out for up to three months after knee surgery.

Norwich are looking to bounce straight back to the big time after their agonising relegation from the Premier League last season, manager Alex Neil has been working hard on recruitment throughout the summer in a bid to strengthen their squad to mount a serious promotion push.

Norwich will have to kick off their season without Jarvis and may be keen to add another winger to the squad as they have already lost winger Nathan Redmond to Southampton this summer and consider themselves a bit thin on the ground in that area.

Jarvis’ Norwich career has been hampered by injuries meaning he has only made 21 appearances since signing for the club.

Jarvis has previously enjoyed spells at clubs such as Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Ham and at Gillingham where he started his career.

What do you think Norwich fans, will he be a big miss at the start of the campaign? Should Alex Neil look to bring in another winger in the remainder of the transfer window? Let us know your thoughts!!
