Burnley experienced something last Saturday that they haven't experienced much of for a number of months - that is drawing a game of football.

The last time the Clarets had to share the spoils in a match was away at Birmingham back in October - since then they have won 13 matches in all competitions with just a singular defeat against Sheffield United, with their nine-match victory streak ended by League One outfit Ipswich Town in round four of the FA Cup.

A goalless draw means that the Tractor Boys will make the trip to Turf Moor on Tuesday for a replay, but first Burnley will make a long trip of their own to Norfolk to try and extend their league winning streak to nine games when they take on Norwich City.

The reverse fixture in October saw Jay Rodriguez strike the only goal of the game to hand Vincent Kompany's side all three points, but the Canaries are under different management this time around with David Wagner replacing Dean Smith in the hot-seat at Carrow Road.

Norwich's first two league matches under Wagner's management have yielded six points and eight goals, so they will be no doubt a threat to the visiting Clarets, who Kompany has already admitted are struggling with injuries and illness.

They should still have enough to see off City though according to EFL pundit David Prutton, who believes Burnley will bring three points back to Lancashire with a 2-1 victory.

"It has been such a good start for David Wagner at Norwich, and he's even been blessed with a couple of weeks out on the training pitch now to further fine tune things," Prutton said on his Sky Sports predictions podcast.
