Norwich City to make shock £13 million bid for clinical Championship striker

Norwich City are set to make a bid of £13 million for Fulham striker Ross McCormack, according to the print edition of the Sun (page 51, Wednesday edition)

Ross McCormack scored 21 goals for Fulham last season, finishing as the Championship’s second highest scorer as he helped them avoid relegation.

Norwich are clearly looking to bring in a big money striker to Carrow Road, earlier this week they saw a £7m bid for Nottingham Forest frontman Britt Assombalonga rejected.

It’s believed that Fulham want a fee closer to the £15m mark for the Scotsman who signed a new contract at the club earlier this year.

HITC also understand that McCormack is unhappy at Fulham, and he did not appear in a recent pre-season game against Preston North End.

Ross McCormack is a proven goalscorer at Championship level having scored bags of goals for Fulham, Leeds United and Cardiff.
