It was a great night for Norwich City last night in the Championship as the men from Carrow Road beat Middlesbrough 1-0 at the Riverside.
The Canaries have been going well in recent weeks with their form displaying an unbeaten run and their win over Boro certainly has to be considered their best result of the season so far.
Indeed, Boro themselves had been on an unbeaten run until the two sides met last night and they will surely feel as though they should have won with them hosting the game.
However, the men from the Riverside couldn't do much about the goal that gave Norwich the win with James Maddison firing home a superb strike from long range.
Certainly, it was a top strike from the Norwich man and his team-mate Marley Watkins took the opportunity to praise the goal from Addison on Twitter last night via this tweet:
A great goal from Maddison, then, and now the plan will be for the rest of the side to keep scoring goals and keep clean sheets as they have done recently to keep their form up.
And, if they can do that, a play-off place is more than possible.
The Verdict
Maddison's goal was a scorcher but Norwich fans will be hoping that they can see more goals from any range from the other players in the side.
For sure, the Canaries could do with scoring a few more goals to go with their defensive record and that will be the challenge for Daniel Farke and his players.
