James Maddison has delivered a message of thanks after sweeping up at Norwich City’s end of season awards.  

The 21-year-old has enjoyed a fine year in the Sky Bet Championship, proving to be a shining light in a difficult campaign at Carrow Road.

The midfielder has bagged 15 goals across all competitions, as well as adding a further eight assists over the course of the season.

A series of excellent performances have led to Maddison picking up numerous awards in recent weeks, with the midfielder voted Norwich’s Player of the Season by fans, as well as the Players’ Player of the Season.

Following a memorable season, Maddison has taken to his personal Twitter account to deliver a message on his personal accolades, which reads:

After a stellar season at Carrow Road, Maddison is expected to be at the centre of a tug of war in the transfer window this summer, with a host of clubs in the race to sign the 21-year-old.

The Mirror reported earlier in the week that Norwich were set to cash in on Maddison this summer, placing a £30m price-tag on the youngster’s head.

Liverpool and Manchester City are two clubs reportedly ready to make a move this summer.
