According to reports from the Mirror, Norwich City defender Martin Olsson is close to completing a move from Carrow Road to Premier League side Swansea City.
Newly appointed Swans manager Paul Clement is looking for defensive reinforcements and is looking at the Championship to booster his squad during the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old left-back arrived at Norwich in the summer of 2013 for an undisclosed fee from Blackburn Rovers and has been a prominent member of the Canaries first-team ever since.
Olsson has racked up 111 appearances for his side since making the move to Carrow Road, and has enjoyed one promotion and a frustrating relegation at Norwich City.
He also has played in 22 games this season and is Alex Neil’s preferred choice at left-back following their relegation from the top-flight.
Martin Olsson is one of Swansea City’s top transfer targets this month ahead of their survival bid in the Premier League.
Alex Neil’s Norwich City currently sit in ninth position in the Sky Bet Championship, in what has been an incredibly mediocre season so far for the east Anglian club.
