After a positive start to their Championship campaign, an underwhelming run of form has seen Norwich City drop down the table somewhat in recent times.

After beating Rotherham 3-1 in mid-October, Alex Neil's side were sitting atop the Championship table after leapfrogging Huddersfield.

However they have managed one draw and two losses in the three following games and now sit fourth; 4 points off the automatic spots and 7 points off top of the league Newcastle.

Alex Neil will need to sit down and carry out a full post-mortem of last weekend's shocking 5-0 loss against Brighton. Norwich need to get back on track quickly if they are to keep up with the top sides in the league and compete for promotion.

One avenue that Norwich might look to pursue is recruiting in January. While the core of the squad is very solid, it could do with a bit of bolstering to add strength in depth.

Here are TWO Manchester United players that Alex Neil might look to buy in the upcoming transfer window...

Sadiq El Fitouri

Sadiq El Fitouri enjoyed a meteoric rise in fame, joining Manchester United from Salford City back in 2014 despite having only played once for the non-league outfit.

The 22-year-old is unlikely to ever make it at Manchester United but he might be a useful addition to a side like Norwich.

The Libya international is predominantly a right back but he has operated at centre half and as a winger so his versatility would be an asset to Neil's squad.

Axel Tuanzebe

Axel Tuanzebe has been accelerated to the first team squad which is testament to how highly rated he is rated within the club.

The former academy captain is eligible to play international football for England or the Democratic Republic of Congo and if he continues to develop as a player at a similar rate, then I'm sure England will be desperate to have him representing the national side.

The 18-year-old is a strong and commanding centre back, who would be a fantastic partner for Timm Klose.
