Norwich City have had an extremely disappointing campaign this season under Daniel Farke, falling well short of any sort of playoff challenge and struggling for goals throughout the season.

The Canaries were expected to challenge higher up the table this term, but things just haven't quite clicked for the men in yellow, and their season has petered out into something of a damp squib in all honesty.

The summer will represent another chance for the Canaries to venture into the transfer market as they look to add some new faces to the squad and improve on this season, and we at FLW think the club should have one eye on the situation at Sunderland as they hunt for players.

One player we think Norwich would be silly not to try and sign is midfield stalwart Lee Cattermole, who has been a mainstay of the Black Cats side for a number of years now, but would surely not want to be plying his trade in League One if he can help it.

Cattermole is an all action midfielder with a winning mentality, and while he might not do the glamorous things in the game, he does a lot of the dirty work, puts a shift in, and can be a real leader of men.

With Norwich no doubt needing to add some quality to the ranks and experience to go with it, Cattermole could well be an excellent capture for Farke and the Canaries.

Norwich fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
