Norwich City could be set to make a second summer raid on Hull City by attempting to sign striker Nikica Jelavic, just weeks after they parted with £7 million to sign Robbie Brady from the Tigers, according to the Hull Daily Mail.
It was thought that Norwich were the front runners to land Italian hotshot Mattia Destro but the player opted to stay in Italy and sign for Bologna instead.
The Premier League outfit are in desperate need of a striker to bolster their attacking ranks and boss Alex Neil is looking at a number of options.
The move would represent another significant blow for Steve Bruce who has been faced with several high-profile departures from the KC Stadium during this transfer window and can ill-afford to lose any more of his star men.
Hull have started the season well and have won two and drawn one of their first three games as they look to secure Premier League football again next season.
Jelavic has an abundance of experience of plying his trade in the Premier League, so moving to Norwich would hardly be a shock to the system for the 29-year-old striker.
Hull fans… Would you be happy to get Jelavic out of the club? Who would you like to see replace the Croatian? What other areas of the squad do you feel need strengthening? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
