Istanbul Basaksehir are looking to sign Norwich City winger Onel Hernandez ahead of the end of the transfer window, according to Sun journalist Alan Nixon.

The Canaries have had a busy transfer window with a number of outgoings and incomings at the club, and it appears that this could be set to continue.

Hernandez has been an important player throughout his time at the club and played a key part in their promotion to the Premier League two seasons ago.

He wasn't used as much in the top-flight and now the Canaries will be hoping they can get a good fee for him ahead of the final days of the transfer window.

Norwich haven't had the best start to the season and will look to build ahead of an expected promotion charge in the next parts of the campaign.

The Verdict

Norwich will hope that if he is to leave the club then they can another winger in to try and make sure they have enough attacking options going forward.

The Canaries will hope they have enough in the attack to really make a bid for promotion once more and try and get back to the Premier League.

Norwich have a number of good players but Hernandez has shown that on his day, he's one of the best players in the division and can take people on at will, which is so important to have in the Championship.
