Norwich City manager Daniel Farke has revealed he is confident heading into tomorrow's local derby with Ipswich Town, in an interview for BT Sport.

The German manager brought in three new signings before the January deadline, but the Canaries gaffer has revealed all three are ready and he willing to chuck them into the action if need be.

"Derby games are difficult to predict. You can’t say there is a favourite because there are lots of emotions and both teams are highly-motivated" Farke stated.

"The new players feel how important the game is for the club and supporters,” the German said. They have spoken to their team-mates and have got an idea for how much it means. Moritz played in Germany in the biggest derby (Borussia Dortmund v Schalke), so he knows what to expect.

“All the other guys are prepared and all of our players know what the derby means.”

Norwich have an excellent record against their local rivals at Carrow Road, having not lost a game there since 2006, and Farke will once again be hoping this record counts for something as he looks to try and guide his side towards a late push for the playoffs.

The Canaries have been disappointing this season and much like their rivals, sit in mid-table in the Championship. Farke will be hoping a win in the local derby can kickstar their season heading into the final three months.
