Norwich City's Ben Godfrey has been one of the standout performers of the season in the Championship this term.

The 21-year-old defender has been superb for Daniel Farke's team and has made a reputation for himself as one of the top young players in the division following a series of consistent showings in the yellow of the Carrow Road outfit.

But with news emerging today courtesy of the Mirror that Godfrey is attracting attention from the likes of Man United and Arsenal, just how will the defender be feeling about a potential move to one of the English game's giants?

Godfrey will no doubt feel a sense of excitement, not only in that there is interest from such clubs, but that his form is of such a high standard that he is even warranting admiring glances from the upper echelons of the game.

For a player who was last season with Shrewsbury Town, a move into the top flight would mark a superb period of progression in a short period of time, and he should be proud of himself.

The defender has been quietly going about his business, and is clearly loving life at Norwich, but would he seriously turn down a move to someone like the Red Devils or Gunners? Surely not.

It's a big step if Godfrey is to make the jump, but one he will surely not pass up on if given the chance. Moves like this don't come about too often in the world of Championship football, and Godfrey will no doubt feel that pressure to take his opportunity while he can.

Norwich fans, do you agree? Would Godfrey be daft not to move? Let us know your own thoughts!
