Norwich City could be set for a huge battle to keep hold of winger Josh Murphy, with Brighton and Fulham both among the clubs interested in signing the 23-year-old.

According to the Eastern Daily Press, Murphy is in demand, and is of particular interest to former Norwich manager Chris Hughton at Brighton, who is keen on making a reunion happen with Murphy.

Murphy has been one of the key players for Norwich for a number of seasons now, after losing brother Jacob when Newcastle United swooped in and secured his signature at the beginning of last season.

Both brothers have long been expected to make big impacts in the Premier League, and it looks like now Josh could well get his chance, with the Seagulls looking to pip both Fulham, and Championship big spenders Middlesbrough to his signature.

Murphy knocked in seven goals last season as the Canaries struggled back in the Championship under new manager Daniel Farke, and he will no doubt be tempted by a move back up the ladder.

Norwich will no doubt expect a decent fee though for their man, and it could well be the start of a bidding war between any potential suitors to see who wins out for the signature of the young winger.

Canaries fans, what do you think to this news? Good time to move Murphy on? Let us know!
