Norwich City winger Ben Marshall is set to complete a loan move to Millwall until the end of the season, according to reports from the Pink'Un.

The 27-year-old has become surplus to requirements at Carrow Road and has fallen out of favour under Daniel Farke, making just six appearances in all competitions for the Canaries this term.

The wide-man was impressive on loan at The Den last season, scoring three goals in sixteen starts for the Lions, as Neil Harris' men narrowly missed out on a Sky Bet Championship play-off place.

But with the Lions struggling at the other end of the league this time around, the London club look set to re-sign Marshall on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Neil Harris' men currently sit 20th in the league table, five points clear of the relegation zone after three wins in their last four league games - whereas Norwich sit third in the Championship, and find themselves outside of the automatic promotion places on goal difference.

The Verdict

Marshall was very impressive for Millwall last season, so it will obviously be a massive boost to those at The Den if he does re-sign for the club.

The Lions are in need of a boost to push them further up the table, and their wide areas is a position that they could do definitely do with reinforcing.

It's a good move for Norwich too, Marshall just hasn't made the impact they would have liked him to, and the departure could free up some funds to bring in some new players.
